I'm glad that my only experience with a vendor (only new part I bought) was with @Mobtown Offroad, and they set the bar very high haha I'd be up a wall if I had to wait longer than agreed upon for parts

I was just wondering. I ordered my sliders from beefed taco almost 3 years ago. He told me it would take 3 months. After 3 months I started to get on him and in the end it took 5 months. I ordered from him before his vendor page had the warning banner about him being MIA.

hope it comes together for you. I hate having to play hardball with people especially when they're building something for you. too polite and you get walked on, too big of a dick and they're in control of the quality of your product.

It's always good to be polite at first. It's hard to speak for every vendor, but I believe that the majority don't want to upset the customers. It's surprisingly difficult to estimate lead times...shit happens more than you would think. @Mobtown Offroad we try pretty damn hard to keep up. If we miss an email or miss a ship date, it's certainly not for lack of effort. We are truck guys so we know badly everyone wants the new stuff they pay for. If we screw up, a polite phone call/email goes a lot further than a crappy one. We will go above and beyond for the nice guy.

I agree, I'm always polite at first but when you start to get the run around from someone you have to get firm. if you want some good reading you should go over to the snorkel group buy thread. those guys are pissed, I would be too considering how the OP has handled the situation. Politeness has gone completely out the window.

Best thing ever. Contact tips let you rest the plasma torch right on the surface of the metal. Then you can pretty much right your name with the thing.

    Yeah , that's the coupon.
I'm annoyed at this situation too now. I did my best to Help a TW member save some serious cash. Seems to me the coupon should have been for a case of RedAss.
I'd be happy to return your $ Joe , but then the sliders will show up o_O
Why would somebody become a vendor then not come through on his word ?
I believe pressure could be applied in more ways at this point , just not sure exactly how ?
    Fuck-N-A

I do have idea or two , but I can take things to the extreme when I'm pissed , so I'm keeping my thoughts to myself

I'm kinda surprised and bummed you are having that experience. I spoke with Scott to discuss my options for mounting a bumper of his I got second hand from another member here. He gave me a ton of good tips on how to fabricate the part I needed to make it work. He seemed like a good dude, but even the best can get burnt out.

I painted my sliders before hand , just left the weld area bare(foot plus 2" of tube )
Much better coverage and less mess or having to mask off the truck ( overspray ). After the welds cooled I hit those small areas with good galvo spray from Fastenall , then black.
