Orange? Isn't that for juice?

But FWIW, this is my second 3rd Gen. The first was Inferno Orange. It blew up. So while I thought it was gorgeous, orange must not like me.
Here is the thread about that: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/engine-issues-on-my-3rd-gen.441399/

    And finally.... THANKS!

    12/2/16 Update...

Just bought some leaf springs from a 2nd Gen TX Baja. Planning to either install them or go on a trail run on 12/4. This should be roughly the same as an AAL mod, i believe - I'm thinking it will give me about a 1" lift in the back, so I'll have to deal with the rake until I lift the front up in the spring.

    Thanks @Coot83 for the deal!

Looks like it's the trail run for tomorrow. New Leaf Springs, will be have to warm and comfortable (if lonely), sitting in my garage for a while.

The SSO Slimline is up in my list. I found it a few months ago when i was looking around to see what was out. I plan on getting it next year hopefully. The C4 looks nice too. I think there's another one out there but cant seem to find who makes it right now but its very similar.

Looks like a nice little trail. Wish i had something like that close!

Simple and easy can still be fun. Especially for someone like me who has almost no offroading experience.

I'm looking for one that allows me to not cover up the sub-grille (I just ordered a 32" @CaliRaisedLed stealth combo for there). Plus I don't want to do any radical cutting.

Yeah., it is a nice little trail. About an hour from where I live, and you can do the whole trail in 2-3 hours. Nothing very challenging, but still nice to be in the forest.

Nice, I ordered the Casliraised 32" stealth bar last week myself! I love how the SSO/C4 slimlines leave the truck looking pretty stock. I will be DD my truck for years to come and want to keep it from looking like its built only for heavy offroading. I do want some strong front tow hooks and a place for a winch once i can afford it all.

Exactly. My truck is my daily driver as well. So I want it to be capable off-road, but no "crazy" mods. Prolly bumper, skids, a minor lift, and rock sliders. And then I think I'll be done. But if my wife has anything to say about it that's prolly 3 years of mods.

Your start is looking good, i'll keep following to see where you end up. My sliders are ordered and i'll add/replace my stock skids as i destroy them. Once the sliders and skids are on I'm guessing I'll be at a point that I feel I need a lift to handle the extra weight. I also think i want to get a RTT but its all more money than i can afford for now and i really need to see one in person before i can think about spending that much on a tent. For now my little $100 tent will do me just fine.
