I'm making this post to help others make a better more informed decision for when and if they want to get gauges on their blown Taco's.

I will have to edit this post as I don't have an immediate picture to show. I'm running an Innovate MTX-D boost gauge and a Grams AFR gauge.

Max limits are 10:1-20:1. Great AFR gauge compared to my stupid MTX-L which NEVER worked and always populated an E8 code. Just replaced it with my Grams gauge and here's a concept... it actually WORKS, and damn well at that also! Hahaha.

Max boost PSI on the MTX-D gauge is 30PSI and reads out vaccuum as well. I had to double up the gauge faces on them in order to tint down the lighting because running just one was ridiculously bright at night. Even with having the dimmer hooked up to it. Solid combo, just have to work a few contact points at the wheel out while turning it. Both hooked up to be on at ignition ON position.

Post up your combo, max limits (if you know them), how you have them hooked up to work (if you know that as well), and if you have done any mods to them at all.

    My current setup.

as for me, my taco has a trd supercharger and I have the 2.85 pulley installed. Now having said that, I could look at those numbers all day long and I would not have the slightest idea what all those numbers mean, all I know for sure is that it goes like a bat out of hell and it presses me back in my seat when I mash down on the gas peddle... ;)

Just look for 14.7 at cruise, around 10.5 or so at WOT runs. (Extremely rich, as all our boosted tacos should be no more than 11.5, but thats okay, better lower numbers at WOT than anything over 14.7 at WOT). As for boost look for anywhere at 7.0-8.0 PSI at WOT since you have the pulley (assuming you have a GOOD intake URD, AFe). Good to go looking at those numbers now.

the power boost is so insane that when I put my foot in it, virtually 100% of my attention has to be on traffic and my tach... I know I want to keep it well below the red line so it dont self destruct.

That is far from what will happen. In time you will get used to it and it will just become secondary until you need it. I run it to redline daily nearly every time I'm getting on the freeway. It won't hurt the truck, matter of fact it is good for it. Lol.

It doesn't change with the reflash.

The Bully Dog tune might be able to raise it. The URD UCON can definitely raise it.

I like that Grams AFR gauge. Uses the LSU 4.9 sensor instead of the 4.2.

It's very quick, and pretty sleek. Just a simple design that uses UEGO similar to AEM. It doesn't offer computer tuneability/ customization or anything, but that is almost a good thing as I will never have to worry about firmware updates and glitches if an update has one which causes the gauge to go haywire and set off error codes rendering the gauge useless unless you do a firmware rollback. (AHEM… Innovate MTX-L, I'm looking at you)

The Grams AFR boost gauge is garbage. Without warning it started blinking 20.00 AFR all the time, which would really be a problem at night and is not true either. I am going to switch out to an AEM X-series gauge and change it's LED color to orange to match the other gauge using a stage gel cover.

    I receive the gauge tomorrow.
