Flat washer should be up against the side plates. Lock washer in between the flat washer and the screw head.

Are there any issues with the Leer canopy's rear swing up window hitting the rear awning while it's open? I want to get a foxwing awning on my ARE canopy but am not sure if the window will interfere.

I ordered mine through Zack when I ordered my racks, they look like shorter carriage bolts.

I installed the cab rack on my 07 DC about a month ago. Everything fits great! I put the rubber seal on the bottom of the front wind deflector and my question is if the rubber seal is supposed to sit tight against the roof of the truck? Mine does not, its about a 1/2" away. I don't see a way to get it to touch the roof if it is supposed to.
Also I am getting some vibration out of it at about 50mph. Is this due to the exposed slots in the aluminum cross bars? I thought I read somewhere that there is some kind of plastic filler pieces that can be used to fill the slots and cut down on wind vibration, is this true? @zscott

I wish i could get my seal to fit tight to the cab, i think it would help with wind noise quite a bit. Thanks for the link, i will check those out.

Not really a write up. You just throw it up there and use the supplied hardware that comes with the CVT. It's a plate and two bolts on either side (4 plates total). It's really self-explanatory when you get your tent. Use whatever extrusion bars you want. I think once you have it in front of you (assuming you don't already), you'll see how simple it is.

I do have my tent! I haven't gotten a chance to actually do anything with it yet. I'm mainly worried about how to go about it since it's like 200+lbs I have to lift up over my head and somehow mount to the rack..

Gotcha. Get a friend! If you're putting over your toprac, come from the back and slide it up. The bottom of the tent slides easily on the rack. Think like loading a canoe on it, just get the nose on the back of the rack and slide forward. Once it's up there, it will slide easily to get it centered and placed how you like. Then tighten down all the hardware.

If putting on the cabrac, follow same procedures come from the side. I am 5'6" and able to load my tent myself, but it's not easy. With two people, it should be a breeze.
