IMG_1055.jpg IMG_1052.jpg Took my 2017 SR 5 spd on a road trip out of the city today. Used my 4x4 for the first time, only 1078 kms on the truck. Got a little mud on the tires.

    Tacomas are the best.
I love the new interior upgrades the third gen models have. I test drove a trd sport third gen, and they basically have computers in them on the dash!
I love the blue lights too.

In a few years I might get a third gen.

I previously owned a v6 trd offroad ( put almost 300k on it with no problems), and recently went down to the four banger this year.
I'm genuinely surprised, the four banger has plenty of pep before you get to highway speeds, and can handle its self on the highway too.
After going from v6 to four banger, I'm convinced the v6 is only necessary for the towing options, off roading and general driving are leaving me very satisfied with the four banger.

    Congrats on the new truck!
    It will last forever.

Edit: I've owned other manufactures trucks in four bangers too, the toyota four banger in my opinion is the best in class.

The odometer just turned 3000 kms or 1864 miles for my friends south of the boarder, NO REGRETS getting the 5spd.

Awesome truck. I have a 2015 that's pretty much the same setup as yours and like you said, no regrets!
