HBOs WestWorld (Possible Spoilers)

Yeah I wasn't really into the different timelines until I saw that girl who was the greeting person at HQ. But now that she's a spy for Wyatt I'm into the different timelines. Which means the Man in Black could be William

 

I see the movie will play on SYFY channel, SAT. Dec. 3rd @ 8:00 AM CST.

 

Really good episode this past Sunday! It was gripping and before I knew it, credits were rolling. So we got another reveal, and it was epic. Then the ending... man, what's going to happen next? Ford is just the man! I don't care if he is considered the villain of the show.

 

Yeah, that was intense and brilliantly done as well.

 

Yeah it confirmed a bunch of theories out there. And finally found out who Arnold was, as the episode went on and on I kinda figured that it was him. But yeah I think Ford is killing it literally and figuratively.

Excited for next weeks!

 

That was a really great finale! Wow, lots of reveals went down and just the writing and execution by the ensemble cast were excellent. Ford followed in Arnold's footsteps, even to the moment of death. The explanation of unlocking the hosts' consciousness was deep. Seeing Dolores first waking moments while she was still in the process of being completed was very cool too. Nice special effects there.

I really thought Maeve was going to escape WW, but once the power got cut and the VIP party got ambushed, even bigger **** was going down! It was such an elaborate set up by Ford, but I believe his intention really is to free his and Arnold's creations. He seems to have successfully awoken the consciousness of a number of hosts in the park, and now the rest will be lead by Bernard, Dolores, and Maeve. Teddy may be there as well. I really can't wait for season 2! I don't know what to expect with the next storyline. Maybe the real escape from the park and the main hosts will develop some type of revolution. That would be awesome to see. Sad to see Ford go out, but it needed to happen for Dolores to truly be free. The replay of Arnold's plot that he concocted for Dolores in order to stop the park from opening, now happened with live humans instead of hosts. Quite the poetic ending.

And how about a reveal of SW or Samurai World!? That would totally be the world I'd visit for kicks.

 

It was a great finale. Once I saw the gun that Dolores had used to kill Arnold and then when Ford told Bernard that they must suffer more. I was like she's going to kill Ford, my roommate was like no that's not going to happen. Bam winner winner chicken dinner.

But yeah I did not see the SW coming, that'd be cool if the hosts go from World to World in the next seasons to come. It also opens up to having content for years plus maybe spin-offs too

 

I read in Entertainment Weekly, a theory that Ford handed over complete control of the hosts with the final handshake to Bernard before he walked out back to the gala. Could just be nothing, but an interesting theory.

 

Argh.....I gotta stop reading this thread 'til I catch up. (Yes, I know....my fault) Impressed so far.

 

I stayed away until I could watch the finale when I got home from work. It was awesome, great writing and great delivery by the cast. The look on William's face, finally getting what he was searching for. Did the spy host ever make it out? I didn't catch that.

 

I know he was in cold storage waiting for Sizemore to come get him, then he gets there and the entire place is empty. I think it's one of those things that we won't know for sure until next season.

The board had a host they wanted to escape the park, it was Father to Dolores early on. The young narrative creator and the board chick conspired together for a couple of eps.

Well, just finished the season finale. Now I've got to go back and watch all the episodes again just to make sure I didn't miss something. I had not even considered that there were multiple timelines. Finding out that William was also the man in black was a shocker.

 

I didn't think so until my roommate (a reddit junkie) told me about it half way thru, then I started to believe it. They basically confirmed it in episode 9

I just read that on one of the websites, (Delos Corporation maybe) there was a secret file stating Elsie is still alive. Lots of answers still happening a week after the ending. What a great show.
