I have Origin Access which gives me 10 hours (trial) of the game. It's alright. I like BF4 better. Not a fan of the guns in BF1.

Yea. I'm getting nore used to them. Ive been playing alot lately. I actually hopped into a bf4 game the other day...and it took me a minute to gather myself and get situated.

I really enjoyed bf2 and bf vietnam when they were new games.

Bf3 was great and bf4 was just ok for me.

How much does something like this cost? Are the games fun to play? I've always wanted to get into it but never really did. I want to build a pc for video/photo editing so might as well beef it up for games too. Then I can play this :D Another question. I have a PS4, are there more people playing on consoles or pc for these racings games?

It can get a bit costly but you can build a decent rig on the cheap and still get enough fps to play.
There are people playing on ps4 and there are some wheel/pedal combos for both pc and ps4. Naturally, pc is going to have better graphics and be able to play games with better physics engines. Consoles will never be able to do that....but they can still be fun.

My pedals and wheel combo are both from "Fanatec". Those 2 have been discontinued. They also have wheel/pedal combos for ps4 and xbox. The prices dont seem to be to bad and they are middle level gear.

You might also look into used logitec g25 or the G29. They are also decent wheel/pedal combo. And there is another that I hear great reviews. The DFWG or something like that.
I think its made by "driving force"?

Im pretty sure you could build a computer that could play assetto corsa (normally, what I race) or pcars. Both pc.

Im not sure what titles are avail for ps4. But I hear good things about the forza series.
Its not really a simulator but more arcade style.

Check out "Fanatec" and also "thrustmaster".
They make a few wheel/pedal combos as well. Lots of people I see on my sim page use them.

I have the pc build handled. I've belt a few in the past and I do understand the cost. The racing simulator is all new to me though so I will have to do some research on that. I'll check out the logitech! Thanks for the advice

The 1080s are sweet cards, you will not be disappointed. We use them for compute purposes and they blow away anything, even our previous generation Titan-X (Maxwell) cards. Actually, the 1070s are beating the Titans as well. We don't use SLI, but I remember reading that if you do, you need to order some special SLI connector for the 10 series. FE cards will keep the heat out of your system too. I prefer them to the aftermarket style coolers that just blow the air all over the inside of the case.

Nice!! Myself and a friend both just upgraded to GTX1070's (He built a whole new comp) I'm running a founders edition and hes running an MSI with integrated liquid cooling. These cards are monsters! I can only imagine what 2 1080's will do!

I'm not totally sure both cards are going to fit. There is very little room between my 770's and my 3rd pci slot is clear at the bottom of the board where my power supply is.

The only reason i went with the 1080s is because the 4k deal. I dont think 1070's support it.

If I cant use both cards, no big deal. I have 2 friends at work that are building systems or I may end up building 2 more systems.
One with my sli 770's and another with a 1080.
I honestly have nothing bad to say about the dual 770's. They have delivered everything I asked of them and I still want to build a micro lan box for when I travel up home.
This setup I have now feels like it weighs 50 lbs.

Anyway....i overnited the cards so hopefully I can get them in this week.
    Super excited!!

They say going full retard is not a good thing.
    I might have to dissagree..lol

I'll try and get some benchmarks up this weekend. I did try the "unigine" benchmark real quick. Sadly a single card bested the sli setup.

I also do not have the HB bridge that doubles the bandwidth. Im using the sli ribon from my 770's.

    More later....... ..

770's back in the boxes till I figure out what to do with them.
I bought them for bf4 and they performed flawlessly in sli. I also used a single card for bf1 on medium settings with very little issues.

GTX 770 (even tho older) is still a good card. I had a EVGA GTX 770 before I upgraded to a EVGA GTX 970 FTW a year or so ago.

Yes, still pretty good card. Way better in sli.
I hope I can find a small lan box that I can still sli them and be portable.
