I don't think it was an intent to injure at all , thats not Taylor Hall's game , principal point of contact looks to be the head but Hall's arms are down and he doesn't jump into the hit , it was just a really hard hit and Larsen had no idea he was coming

 

Ya, pretty much how I see it. Just a shame he got hurt.

 

Those are the hits that have to stay in hockey. Start calling that and we may as well make it non contact. Too bad for Larsen though, he basically skated into a wall. That hurts.

 

@OZ-T since you seem to be so invested in TO's goalies:

So if a backup is needed right away Bibeau will get a shot followed shortly by Ramo. Enroth is done unless he can put it back together in the AHL like Ramo did last year.

 

What a weird situation that is.

 

Toronto has 4 goalies with NHL experience and 2 who are upper echelon AHL goalies. That backup spot will be under contention lots this year. It's a good thing. In theory the Marlies should always have a good NHL experienced goalie to teach the kids about being a Pro.

Andersen has been great though minus his shakey start. No number 1 goalie controversy in TO.

 

Ya, I can't see any issue as far as who the No.1 will be. Andersen has recovered from the rough start (which wasn't really his fault anyways).

 

It's wasn't totally his fault but it also wasn't totally the teams. For a bit there Andersen couldn't stop a beach ball and the team was allowing too many rebounds to stick around the net. It was bad all around lol.

Andersen also couldn't find his positioning for the first 8 games. Sort of like what happened to Enroth everytime he played.

 

Larsen released from hospital , cleared to fly , returning home to Vancouver , Biega to replace him in the line up

The Habs could play with Weber, any NHL forward, 3 potatoes, and Price and they would win games.

they are trying to get Bibeau as much the next 2 years as they can, hes clearly the guy they feel has the most upside. I watch most marlies games and he looks so good some nights and so average others
