I really enjoyed the social side of college. Class, not so much.

I like the fact that now I get paid to do something I don't want to do rather than having to pay to do something I don't want to do.

    Funny how that works.

    Funny

Yeah I'm excited, finally making decent money. Plus I already have a job set up after school so no need to stress about anything except the actual job

Cooper STT PRO 255/75R 17 on order. Should have them in a week or so. Apparently Cooper is having inventory difficulties.

Question: Add wheel spacers or no?

Yea, I think they will fit ok with stock wheels and stock UCA. Just curious if I will want a wider stance.

Thank you guys, I will read up

would tellin them I regeared the diffs to 4.56 help or hurt my case??? I have not said that to them yet. I did call BS and told the warranty people I plan on fighting this because I know the tires didnt cause the solenoid to be intermittent. I do not have a gear issue, its just 1 electrical component that costs 200$ !!!

I would give them as little information as possible. Don't tell them anything they don't ask about.

ok, that has been my mindset.

4 items they said voided my warranty:

    1. a performance chip in the engine
    2. bigger tires.
    3. aftermarket front bumper
    4. aftermarket rear bumper

I bought the truck brand new from the dealer, I am the first owner and have NEVER had an engine tune or chip of any sort programmed into the truck (The warranty ppl's OBD tool says I do, so now (tomorrow morning) I have to PROVE my innocence and figure out from toyota what the fuck kinda "chip" they are saying was programmed!)

and I am pretty sure I can argue the last 3 items as unrealistic.

as for the tires, I plan on explaining how the they dont affect the solenoid that is not letting the truck shift from 3rd to 4th. to me it all makes clear sense and should be covered. NEVER AGAIN will I guy an extended warranty. I had 2 ppl advise me against it and I figured hey, its better to be covered a little longer for a little extra. they warned me how they will try anything to keep from paying out. NEVER AGAIN. shame on me.

ANY help you guys can provide ill gladly consider.

Damn. A serious shit ass position to be in.
I have my father to thank for keeping me out of extra warranty
... live and learn I guess

Just mental prepare, and be as kind as possible, and start your mental clock, this could drag on, and they don't want to pay a damn thjng, but if you are nice, and they see it is more work for their staff than it is worth/ you can be good press for them, a lot of times 'they' will assist.... usually reluctantly

Just do the best you can, always be prepared with paperwork/ documentation

Legal remedies should be last routes.. unless you are ready to bust some balls!
    Keep us informed

I have a 255/85/16 under there now, but it doesn't just fit. you have to hammer the two tabs that hold the tire in place, let some air out of it, and work it into place. even so, I'm not sure I would wheel with it in there or not. need to do some flexing to see for sure but its pretty close to the diff
I have 255/85 on stock wheels. spacers are not necessary

To fit the tire there properly, they are moving the hanger back so the tire clears the diff.

I'll be doing new tires shortly. (As soon as I get my job bonus....Maybe early Feb) Anyway, I like the looks of what you had going on.... Probably do the same thing. How close do you come to the cab mount? Did you need to cut it?
