    Nice!
    SCR reticle?

I prefer the nuts of the rings to be on the opposite side of the ejection port.

Maybe try reversing the cheek piece, have it facing aft. For better cheek weld.

    Just suggestions.

Looks good, I'm sure it'll shoot good too,

Yes, SCR MIL, and yes, in the final mount they will be on the other side. That's just the side of the bench I had it sitting on to test scope height (just added that pic). It's already been out in the field a year with another scope on it. With my body structure the cheek well lands right where it needs to be for me.

    How's it shoot? What ammo/bullets? Factory/reloads?

    Shooting any matches next year?

It's a very stable platform, like any AR setup, the energy goes straight back. The trigger is a two-stage hybred the first stage ends at 1.3 ounces and the second stage releases at 1.11 ounces, making it essentially an 8 ounce trigger with the safety. In other words, The trigger is allways a surprise as it should be. We have tried several custom loads and in the end stayed with the Hornaday 6.5 Creedmoor 140 ELD Match grades. They performed just as well as some of our best custom loads.

While I'm certainly not in the same league as many of you. I wanted to begin to play in the long range space. I figured I'd get in affordably with this Savage 10T in .308 with a Vortex Viper HS LR 4-16 x44mm. I've just stuck with Federal Match ammo. I'm doing pretty good in the 400-500yd range....which is a lot farther than most think.

    Everybody has to start somwere!
Might I suggest one of these, good for cheek padding and keeping your ammo on board. especially preloaded-3 round mags. ( the pouch unzips on one side)

My rifle started out as a Savage model 10.

It's kinda more like model 10.7 now. The stock pack is good place to keep your range card and allen wrenches as well.

Savages are great rifles. Throw a nice trigger and barrel on. It'll be really accurate. all DIY too.

They even have the word atlas and patent pending stamped right in the front of it. Maybe they are real atlas bopods at the actual cost to manufacture
