Moving Head unit overhead...

    Has anyone considered moving their headunits overhead, up by the rear-view mirror?
    I'm thinking of something like this. (this is in an FJ I think)
    I understand it'd take a LOT of rewiring... but I've never liked having the head unit so low. And since I'm going to be putting in a backup camera soon... I thought. Why not?! Has anyone done this?

    I'm in a 2000 TRD 4WD if that matters.

    Its just a matter of extending the wires from the radio harness and mounting it. Your best bet is a Media Receiver (doesn't play CD's), its about half the depth of a regular cd player.

    I'd been considering the Joying Android units but they have mixed reviews in regards to build quality (and they all look to be standard depth, I think)
