    Well for the last few years I've been giving my wife, family members and friends homemade signs for the holidays, birthdays, etc...This year my wife thought it might be nice if I tried selling them. So she went to work and distributed some flyers she made and brought in a few as examples for her coworkers to see in person. It's been pretty good so far, I've had orders to make about a dozen in total ranging in size and shape.
    Here's a look at what I've been doing which has also spurred on ideas for some other artwork using a silkscreen process, but that may be for another thread for now I'll just keep this one about the hand painted signs.

    That's awesome, so you've got your own shop where you sell all the stuff you make! My wife's been talking about something like that for awhile now. She thinks running it like a "maker space", and teaching classes on how to make the signs from scratch would be pretty cool. I'm on the fence about it.
