Detailing Vacuum

What do you guys use? Looking to get something for the garage so I don't have to bring the home vacuum out. Looking not to break the bank, but want something that works well.

 

I use a small shop vac, 2.5 gal. Pretty handy tool for all sorts of things and is easily portable. Had that thing for many years now.

 

Same here. Shop vac makes a small one with a little handle on top (no wheels). Price is right. Light weight, nice little unit. The micro-attachments are a nice add-on.

 

I bought a Bissell upright with the lift off canister. Tried it out in my truck a couple weeks ago and it worked great. Just wish they made a decent brush for it. All I had was the crevice tool but it worked just fine.

I also have a shop vac and a 10' extension hose that you can vacuum the whole truck without moving it.

 

Got a small shop vac from Wally World which works just fine.

 

Small Rigid wet/dry vac I picked up at a garage sale or off CL. Works great, decent wheels.

Here is the model I use based upon recommendations from a detailing forum. Has pretty good suction. I accidentally sucked a decent sized screw driver up with it once.

 

I have had one of these for a few years now and its still going strong.

X2 on the 2.5 Gallon Shop-Vac. I pulled the trigger on one last year. Found it on sale at Lowe's for $25.
