The habit I most have to break is getting tired of cars so easily. I have had a new(to me)car every year almost for the past 5 years at least. The Cadillac is coming up on her 2 year anniversary with me on the 27th and I have no plans of letting it go. I could see the 4Runner being another one I keep so that's why I bought the Limited since it has all the options I would like/need long term.

What's up Houston thread! Joined TacomaWorld a while ago but never really came back to the site. Getting ready to purchase a lift and have been doing a metric F*** ton of searching the history between OME and Bilstein. Made my decision to go with Bilstein though.

Does this group do any get togethers or offroading?

This is what I am thinking for a lift.

Bilstein 5100 Hight Adjustable Front Shocks
    Old Man Emu 2886 Coils
    Bilstein 5125 Rear Shocks
Old Man Emu CS047R Dakar Leaf Spring set
Bushing Set for CS047R Leaf Springs
    Longer U-Bolts

I see a lot of people saying they are running the OME 2886 coils with the 5100s but I also see that it is not recommended. Is there any reason as to why that is?

Why do you like Bilstein shocks over getting the full OME kit?

I have seen a lot of reviews/opinions of more people liking the ride quality (not so stiff) of the Bilsteins over the OME. I see the OME more for hauling heavy loads. If I did haul more often then what I do now I would consider the OME more I assume.
