    its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
    If you have excess to 75w90 I would use it in all 3 front,rear,transfer case, the 75/85 is a lightweight gear oil to improve fuel economy, the 75w90 is very slightly thicker and if you tow its probably better to use, if you get it for free then its a win-win if u ask me. go for it lots of folks use the 75w90 in all 3 no probs whatsoever

    Anyone read the gear oil comparison found here? This was from 2007 and not sure if formulation has changed since then. I came across it a few years ago. I usually use Mobil 1 as it's readily available but local NAPA carries Amsoil which I like to use as well. For the Lucas oil users, Lucas didn't do too well.

    mobil1 75w90 in both diffs and the transfer case for me. i'm a mobil1 fan boy since i converted from dyno castrol for the motor many years ago. fanboy here thinks mobil makes good lubricants.
