Has anyone had problems with getting alignment right? Ive been to 2 shops including toyota dealer and they hve aligned my truck more than 5 times and it is still pulling.. first to the right, then to the left.
The toyota dealer said they would try a "custom alignment" since i have larger wheels (235/65/r17) than stock.

I honeslty think something is wrong down there. The steering was crooked and now its somwhat straight but still pulls....

The toyota tech has alighned it perfect every time. But once its on the road, it goes off alignment.

Does anyone have a similar story?

My 6 lug had done it since my last lift.
It was alligned right after the lift and its pulled to the right ever so slightly. The steering wheel is also off of center just a hair.

Had it on the rack 3 times now and there is zero play in any of the front end components.
Always in spec....and still pulls ever so slighly to the right.

At first I thought it was the crown on the road. Nope. I was told outter ties rod ends. Nope.

You dont happen to have tubular upper control arms, do you?

So has it always did it or did something change?

I dont know how true this is on current vehicles but I have always heard vehicles are designed to pull to the right ever so slighly in case a person was to fall asleep.
That way the vehicle wouldnt head towards the medium.
It might be hogwash, but I have always heard that.

Even if that is true, it is pulling way to hard for comfort. I have to keep weight on the steering wheel to counter balance and it starts to bother my wrist, its annoying.

18" tires and rims, 2.75" Procomp lift, Fox shocks in rear.
My 5-lug has a tendency to pull to the right, although I believe the steering wheel is straight. I'll check it again. I installed 18" tires 3 days after I purchased it, then got it lifted 2.75" a few weeks later. Sometimes, when approaching a complete stop, I let go of the wheel and it forcibly jerks to the right on its own.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Did you get a printout of the alignment numbers?

For what it's worth, if the road is crowned in your area, it will pull to the right slightly.

Try swapping the two front tires from side to side and see if it changes anything... I sold tires for years and there are a lot of pulling tires.. Some pull so bad they needed to be replaced...

Check your right front brake to see if it is dragging. Also, did you check to make sure your tires are the same size, it had happened before that someone got one tire that was a different size

I am going to put the stock wheels back on so they can see if the alighmment is still off. I hope not because that would mean that im stuck with these wheels and tires that i bought a couple weeks ago
