    The HD replacement shackles do not affect suspension travel. They are only intended to be a strength upgrade over the stock shackles. So if you've bent a stock shackle, or are worried about doing so this would be a great item for you to upgrade. The stock length shackle will work in the stock shackle mounting brackets or a flip bracket. The extended length shackles will only work with a shackle flip kit and provide some lift to the rear as well. The amount of lift gained is listed for each length available.
