Sorry if this already been covered but I can't seem to find my answer online.
I am thinking of trading my 2012 Trd Sport on a 2016/17 Sport.
My 2012 has Bilstein 5100 on the front at the .87 setting (the rest is stock) with 265/70 17 tires. I did this to level the truck. I really like the outcome of the look on my 12. Can I do the exact same thing on a 3rd Gen and does it take the same 5100's?
If not, what is the Bilstein part # I need? Can I use the oem coils?
Thanks and again sorry if it's been answered already.

Just FYI- everything on the 3rd gen is 90% the same as the 2nd, as far as suspension goes. It will fit. Most new stuff for 2016+ is changes in spring rate, valving, and that's just about it.

I'll send pictures after tomorrow. I'm putting on the 2nd gen bilstein 5100, and 887 coils on my 2017
