I had the silver piece that goes over my grill ripped off 4 wheeling in the ice. Is that replaceable? I can't seem to find it online, just complete grills.

Is the plastic piece under the headlight called a bumper filler?

    What tool removed the clips?

    Thanks so much!

Yes, the piece under the headlight is called the bumper filler. Not sure on getting the grill surround without the whole assembly.

The grille surround and grille insert are joined by heat-melt plastic rivets, so normally the entire grille assembly is replaced together. You are more likely to find used grille assemblies than just the surround.
Yep. You can order those by color: http://parts.villagetoyota.com/show...=2010&ukey_category=19376&ukey_driveLine=6159

I don't believe you can buy just the trim piece for the grille and any screw driver will work to remove the clips.[/QUOTE]
I had trouble getting them out when fixing the bumper but I'll order extras and replace them as needed. I didn't know if I could reuse them or not.

Looks like a good excuse to visit Homertaco for a new grille...

Giving her too much hell... It's okay, I destroyed my trailer hitch lighting on a fire trail a couple months ago :anonymous:

Looks like the bumper shell pushed up on the grille surround. Well, this is how you know you are wheeling it hard. :D

FWIW I just recently bought this same grill for my "new-to-me" super white '09, as I did not like the look of the colour matched OEM surround (IMHO it made the truck look like a Highlander). It looks great and is as well made as the stock parts; had to move the Toyota logo from the old assembly...

I did it last year but the grill trim finally ripped off while driving down the freeway in a pretty bad storm. Glad the desk stuff is being used!
