Nice! Need to start shopping for a tool roll then!

I have most of the tools needed, just need something easier to carry in the truck besides this tool box I have.

I want to go to a few pawn shops and see what tools i can find there. I am trying to keep the tools in my garage and the tools for my truck separate.

There are 3 pockets at the end of the roll that looks like it would hold a couple sockets in there.

Edit: the Amazon picture doesnt show the pockets, but one of the customer review photos does...

No problem Also if you need anything welded i have a buddy that lives on the south side of Tyler off 69 that welded up my bumpers. He will probably do it for cheaper than a shop. He can also weld aluminum.

Heck yea! I do need some stuff welded soon, trying to design a way to mount some lighting in the shell and to be able to hang stuff while at camp and would like to welded together instead of bolted.

Does he have a pipe bender by any chance?

Yes! I am going to work on the design this week, but would really want a pipe bender do do this with. essentially an arch that follows the curves of the shell and goes from one bed rail to the other bed rail. That way I can attach some LED lights for camp lighting, some hooks to hang stuff, and some other things I would like to do.

Let me know when you get your design down, i will reach out and see if i can borrow the pipe bender or if you just want to drive out... its only 45 min from Tyler.

I will also contact my buddy about the fabrication. Im almost certain 100% he would be down!

Will do, I suck at angles, so may just mock it up with cardboard or something.

Since he can weld aluminum that would be perfect for this as it would not add any weight or anything.

If you want aluminum then you will have to take it his shop to weld it up. Its also off 69, but its in Flint. So 7 miles south of tyler, just past the speedy pantry, and across from Royal Oaks subdivision. I used to live in Royal Oaks in the dome house. I found that most people in Tyler know about the dome house in Flint some how. Just an FYI

    I know where that is!

Ha, that would be fine with me. Does he have materials there or would I need to buy them first?

I imagine he has everything to weld at this shop. The pipes and such you may have to buy. I will call and get you some details... Stand by

He said that he could order the tubing for you, but he doesnt have a pipe bender. He said that he could chop up some of the tubes and maybe piece together the angles but it wouldnt be smooth bends.

He said that a steel pipe bender would just crush the aluminum pipe, he recommended you search around and see if you can borrow one if you want to bend the angles.

He also said he needs about a month before he has the time to weld it, he is having Jeep problems at the moment.

Yeah I wrapped the roof primarily for protection. With the prinsu being so low profile I wanted to protect the paint from whatever. Actually gonna wrap the hood and tailgate too soon. Rust is a major issue here so all of the flat surfaces are getting wrapped. TG is for fun and protection when loading randoms.

Oahu is way overpopulated right now. But it's home and my wife and I have really good jobs that we might not have elsewhere. So for now we make due.

I actually plan to get a dual swing out hc rear one day. As well as LT kit with kings, 35's and a camper. But that's way down the line. No way I'd be able to justify all that in the same decade...
