My LoPro doesn't leak much, veerrrrry little in the corners near the cab. Other than that it's pretty much bone dry and that's after rain and snow melting off it this weekend.
I'll probably seal the leaks up front in the springtime but it's not a deal breaker for me. Almost any cover will leak a bit.

Really? Interested if anyone with a cover has had no leaking.
I have the simplest Lund snap on cover and as far as I know, never had leaking- since Feb when I installed it. Never been through a car wash or power washed, but driven on the highway through some heavy rain storms.

So how about it? Anyone else with any type of cover not had leaking? Keeping your stuff dry seems like a basic requirement.

I also have the Factory tri-fold cover installed and I am going to install the pop & lock kit, for that very same reason.

I went with the factory tri-fold cover because it is covered by the factory warranty, In Canada it's 3 years or 60,000 kms or 37282. miles USA and it was only $200.00 more than the aftermarket which only offers a one year warranty. Just think about how often you open your cover.
For me I went for the extra 2 years of warranty over the $200.00 savings.

By leaking a bit I mean a few drops down the inside of the bed. This is from car washes, washing the truck by hand, and snow melting off.
I've never had puddles of water in my bed. If I were to seal it correctly in two or three spots it'd be 99.9% waterproof and that's acceptable to me. Too cold to do that now though. Springtime project

Mine leaks quite a bit on the sides near the tailgate where the rails have to sit on the top of the bed cap instead of being pushed against the bed liner. I'm just not sure how this leak can be fixed. Upfront, it leaks crazy from the gap between the metal and the composite bed. The rubber gasket on top of the tailgate is also quite narrow. Overall it is a poorly designed product for Tacoma.

Best I've seen is the Undercover.

Hello I just bought a new TRD sport long bed. It came with the hard fold back factory bed cover. This is used to make your truck bed a lockable trunk area. It comes with all brackets and screws. This kit relocates your adjustable bed rail cleats, just below bed rail edge. I drove my truck home from dealership and took it out, its got about 40 miles on it LOL. These retail at dealership for around $700. I'm looking at as close to $500 as I can get. It is located in S.W. Riverside county. Local pick up or I can maybe meet somewhere for gas and beer money.

i went with a BakFlip Fiber Max. i like the fact that it wont dent if anything hits the top and I can use the entire bed when folded all the way. I paid 685.00 total which i thought was a good price. I did not use the headrail gasket as instructed by bak and so far it does not leak much.

I have the Lo-Pro with no leaking. But it took a substantial amount of testing and sealing to make it that way.

I'll snap some pics of where/how I sealed mine up. The 3rd gen has a lot more open spaces on the truck bed than the 2nd gen did.

Are there any covers that allow you to drive with the front section folded back ?

Quite a few of the aftermarket tonneau covers allow the folded cover to be folded up vertically close to the rear cab window. They are usually held in place by a set of prop rods. Bak, Undercover etc. all have models that allow this. Check the manufacturer's websites. Personally, I installed a Bak Revolver X2 roll up hard cover, since it still allows you to see out the rear window, when rolled up.
