Step 1: pull the center cap off each wheel (they popped off pretty easily by hand)
Step 2: on the back of the center cap, take a utility knife and stick the blade down between the front and rear of each of the mounting tab points that holds the emblems on and wiggle the blade a little bit
Step 3: take a heat gun or hair dryer and put it on each tab for 15-20 seconds
Step 4: gently press down on the tabs with the blade of a flat head screwdriver

I did exactly this and didnt damage any of the tabs or any of the emblems and they took a little bit, but came right off.

After letting them cool down from the heat gun, I then took windex and cleaned the center cap and then centered and applied the resin decals

then popped the center caps right back on the truck.

    I hope this helps!

It is hard plastic with a matte black textured finish. A little tricky to get on. Didn't line it up right the first time so I had to remove and reinstall. It's held down directly on the hood with 3M tape. Here is the link to the one I got.

I love it! I really researched it before purchasing and read over and over its the best bang for the buck. Thought about the lo pro but decided on the TruXport and glad I did. It was $230 shipped. It's only light rained here but it was water tight. I have yet to test it in a proper rain storm but will report back when I do.

I got the same one, I'm quite happy with it so far. Was easy to install and keeps the snow out of the back. As far as bang for buck goes I don't think you can do better.

Mine seems 99% water tight, some minor minor leakage after a hard rain or pressure wash. One complaint is that it seems to flap around a bit more than expected if it is wet and at highway speed.

It was! The waterfall was pretty much right behind us, about 200 yards away. Fell asleep to the sound of coyotes and the river.
