Pretty much done building my truck, so I decided to start a build thread. This truck is 100 percent garage fab, built on my own time. Hope you guys enjoy it .

Its a 2011 Toyota Tacoma and to name a few things I have on it.

    -toyo tires
-rigid lights using cali raised brackets
    - 30in led light bar

    Suspension: front
-Camburg long travel kit 3.5in over with fabricated lift spindles. Bought the kit used and had it freshly powdercoated. New uniballs, etc.
    - Camburg heim steering kit.
    -total chaos coil bucket gussets
    - king coilovers

    Rear
    -DMZ spring under kit
-16" king triple bypass shocks (piggy back)
    -Custom bolt on bedcage
    - kartek limit straps
    - bumpstops coming soon

    Extra
-DMZ solid motor mounts and a solid transmission mount.
    -DMZ motor mount gussets
    -DMZ rear frame gusset plates

Nice build I actually just got into fabricating and have learned a lot built my own front bumper and shit. how exactly did you make the bed cage a bolt on? and will it be as strong as welding it to the frame? I feel the bolt on areas if used and abused hard enough will eventually deteriorate and you'll have all kinds of broken welds and mounting points?

@HAVVOKK nice man! How did your bumper turn out??
The bedcage uses 6 mounting points which are the same mounting points as the bed itself. The bedcage is not quite as strong as if it were welded on, but is still strong enough to handle the forces. If it does break, I'll just fabricate a new one haha.

It's actually been an on and off project for me that been a bout 3 months in the making but turned out exactly how I wanted it. I'm only asking these questions as that's on my list of shit to build along with a rear bumper and possibly a roof top light bar that's remove able with 5 9 inch hid lights up there to light my way

Righteous man, doesn't hurt to take your time . If you got any questions regarding the fabrication side of the bedcage just DM me and I'll be happy to answer your questions.

Appreciate it man its going to be a little while before I can buy the shocks I know the tubing and such will be fairly cheap I'm estimating buying 2 or 300 bux worth of material plus probably 2 or 3k worth of shocks I won't be fucking around back there

If you go leaf sprung, a 3.0 triple bypass will do just fine! @HAVVOKK

A roll cage is next on the list, but I'm prob not gonna be the one doing it. It would take me a long time to do it and it would just be nice to sub it out and get it done in a month haha. Damn full time jobs haha.
