This is true. Seems like straightened frames are almost never actually 'straight'

So, leaving the hitch in DOES improve your odds!

Anytime you bend metal out of shape, it's never the same when you try to bend it back.

They do! They have a garlic one and it's awesome. I also enjoyed "Death by jerky".

I bought the Hawaiian one by mistake once, though. Didn't like that at all--I never enjoy sweetened meats.

When I had my '96 Chebby, I got tapped by a Civic while I was sitting at a light.
Wasn't a pretty sight for her. Major grill and hood damage. Me, a little paint on the end of the hitch.

When I had my old '87 Nissan I got rear-ended by a Prius while I was sitting at a stoplight. Low speed impact, maybe 5-10mph. But, it was -20 something when it happened, and the entire front of the car just shattered. Headlights, grill, bumper, etc. I had a steel rear bumper that didn't have a mark on it.

I bought these off ebay. I know people will say there from china and there cheap etc. but i did do some research and when i got them in the mail they were really good quality. Only down fall is they scratch easy so be careful. You will also need a LED canbus.

There's a Jeep around here with a 4 diode LED headlight setup. Looks like crap, and doesn't seem like it puts out any more light than a standard halogen, lol. Yours at least look to be of higher quality than that.

LOL....That was one of the main reasons why I bought my 1988 Nissan King cab 4X4.... man that truck just fit me perfectly + the quality was excellent, I like my Tacoma, but really miss that truck and wish there was a place I could visit it. :pout:

I had 3 of them over the years, but the frames and bodies kept swiss-cheesing so I could only keep them for a few years at a time.
Had an '87 2wd (with the z-motor; that thing was amazing!), then a '94 4x4 V6 KC that I lifted and put 32" Swampers on, and then a '96 4x4 KC that I left stock.

They were nice trucks, for sure. They'd go anywhere you pointed them, and I never had one break down or leave me stranded in probably 200k miles of traveling with different older trucks.
But, then I bought a '99 Frontier and it was crap, so I only kept it for about 3 months and sold it.

I miss my '87. My dad bought it brand new and drove it to 225K and parked it with a bad fuel pump. I resurrected it after it had sat for 5 years by replacing the fuel pump and the tires, and drove it to 287k. Through a 'nostalgia filter' it's the one vehicle (so far) that I wish I'd never sold.

We keep getting bypassed by the snow. Had a couple of storms this week that have just gone out to sea or up into Canada instead of up here.

Yeah, the quality of Nissan vehicles have been going down since 1999, when the French automaker Renault became partners with Nissan, but I still have great memories of my 1988, when it was wholly owned by Nissan and put out a high quality vehicles.

On my way up to Freeport this morning it was snowing all the way to exit 7 on 95 in Maine. Which beyond that end up being shut down for a bit because a 1st gen tundra somehow found itself under the rear tires of a giant DOT plow truck. By under I mean the passenger compartment was literally squished under the rear tires and the bed was sticking out almost perpendicular to the plow truck up in the air. By the time I got by a bunch of stuff was covered in tarps and they had a body bag out.

    Yeah, he died.

    http://www.pressherald.com/2017/01/...using-major-delays-on-maine-turnpike-in-york/

Dude must have really been moving to do that sort of damage, though. The plow truck was stationary when he hit it, but still...
    People need to pay attention.

Same here when I first heard about it.
I wouldn't be surprised if we find out in a week or two that he was texting.

    Kind of like these?

I seen them on the road and the light is absolutely blinding and they look funky.
I went with the ones I have now because they look as stock as can be.
Plus the wranglers stock halogens SUCK. Anything is better than the stocks.
I have a Grand Cherokee as well with stock halogen and the light is amazing on that thing (Has projection headlights and foglights but no HID bulbs) so I believe it depends on how the headlight distributes the light it has.
