@automatcentral asked some of the TW folks to review some fog lights. I've been complaining about mine for months and months so this was the perfect opportunity to upgrade.

PIAA 05350 Toyota Tacoma 2012+ LED Fog Light Kit

In the voice of Xzibit, I HEARD YOU LIKE BOXES SO I PUT A BOX IN A BOX WITH MORE BOXES INSIDE. It was packaged wonderfully. But once I opened it, it was not going back together as neatly as it arrived. I'm like a kid on Christmas Day!

Ohhhh, its a light. So pretty.

Just unboxing the lights made me excited. NOW WE HAVE TWO LIGHTS.

@Shibbyjeep was kind enough to swing over to my job on his day off for a lunchtime mod. My truck dropped a lot of dust, dirt, and water on his face. He's a trooper.

Look at this POS old fog light. Its been full of condensation for months and it needed replacement. It wasn't factory, the wiring was definitely DIY.

I was stoked to test them on on the way home. I work before the sun comes up and I leave after the sun goes down. It worked out well, I need to adjust the side slightly. The cut off is clear and defined; I'm a fan. They make my headlights look like crap. Now I'm looking at headlight upgrades.

    Positive:
    - easy install, an hour max if you have a stubborn truck that doesn't like change like mine.
    - bright and beautiful light.
    - didn't need adapters.

    Negative:
    - makes my headlights look dull in comparison, now I need headlight upgrades...

    Suggested improvement:
    - If the brackets were molded differently, it'd make install easier and quicker. They're good enough as is though.

Would definitely recommend. They got covered in melted snow mud this weekend and shined bright like a diamond. If foglights could be described as gorgeous, these would definitely fall into that category.

I got the same ones and I definetly need to do something with the headlights also, not quite sure what isa good headlight replacement that will match up with LED white, LED headlight bulbs don't work out well in the halogen style housings. the PIAAS are really good fog lights compared to others

I threw in Silverstar bulbs a while back for a whiter appearance but these LEDs make them appear yellow again. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I already have a BHLM planned within the next week or so.

someone rec'd Vosla H4 bulbs but im not sure how White they are but they throw more farther than the regular bulbs, on my previous truck I used some Philips bulbs that said they have a Xenon look but really weren't that great they were white not LED white

Try the PIAA Super White or compare kelvin temperatures of the LEDs and shop for a bulb in the same scale for your head lights.

I got the same fogs and hated the yellow of my halogen headlights after the upgrade. I bought some Rigidhorse H4 LED's from Amazon and am pretty happy with them so far. They're a little more cool white than the fogs, but are a whole lot closer in color than the stock halogen bulbs. I've had them for about 2 weeks now and still haven't been flashed. It says they're setup for LHD, too.
