    Removed mine with fishing line, sprayed with "hammered" rustoleum and reattached with 1/4" 3M emblem tape. Took a while to cut the pieces and place them accordingly and then peal off the backing when I was done was so worth it. Chrome on quicksand just doesn't look right.

    Debadged and then have @Hard Luck GraphiX make you a set of black vinyl emblems if you want to clean it up but still retain its identity....looks clean in the end.

    I thought I would buy a set of black "tacoma" emblems off ebay and avoid having to take off and reinstall mine but I am too anal about staying OE as possible but the ones on ebay are 2nd gen and the font is different and now I have two black "tacoma"s that I paid way to much for sitting around. Doh! I like mine better though :rolleyes: I had to match my mountain range with my bedside range and 2nd did not line up too.

    I actually tested this a few months back and found no problems with adhesion as long as the p-dip is absolutely smooth.
