    Nope, tried it. The tailgate width is an inch or two wider on the 3rd gens, so the tailgate/shell window won't close all the way.

    I felt like I was having a stroke for a minute lol. When I read "2nd gen shell," I had the image of the 2nd gen body trying to be forced atop the 3rd gen chassis in my head.

    Needless to say, when @RPain said he'd tried it, I was even more angry and confused.
