What is the largest tire size you can put on a TRD pro Tacoma 2017? I'm going to swap out the Goodyear Kevlar tires for something more aggressive, but I don't want any rubbing.

as big as you want with enough cutting and a big enough hammer. But really though this section is for 1st gens and youl get a better quicker answer in the 3rd gen part of the forum.

generally, larger tires will rub if you leave the suspension stock height.

On my *1st gen* I have 265/75r16's (stock was 265/70r16) so really not all that much bigger, and they still rub when I put my 5100 shocks at the middle lift option (1.5" lift iirc).

So yeah, it depends on what you do to the truck if it will rub or not... hammer, fender cutting, lift, wheel backspacing, etc...

Also, you posted in the 1st gen section, you should post in either wheel and tire or the 3rd gen section for questions such as this. However the question of "biggest tire without rubbing" has been asked a million times. Next time try doing a search, if you don't find the answer create a thread but nearly every question has already been asked and you can find the answer you need quickly and easily.

Really you should sell your 3rd gen and upgrade to a 1st gen.

After that come back here and we'll be able to help you out with your 1st gen.
