Well I went to check on an eldery couple that sometimes needs help. And I find the old man trying to put a starter in his old 72 or 73 truck....he had a rope tied to it and was trying to get it installedo_O...well needless to say I helped him put it in and got the truck running again...I dont think he had a chance trying to do it the way he was doing it...:rofl:I'll give him an "A" for effort.

Can I chime in from the old man's point of view? I wouldn't expect anyone of the 'kids' (40 and under) to even know how to install a starter. I'm not going door-to-door asking my neighbors for help.

Kudo's to the OP - If you didn't offer, I wasn't going to ask... - Thanks!

I bet 98% of these millenials dont even know where the starter is...This summer I passed by a kid working on an old 70's Ford truck and asked if he needed help. He was changing sparkplugs and wires. He was prob 17 at the oldest. I chatted with him for a few and let him get back to work...it was actually refreshing to see a young kid working on HIS old truck!
