Eotech Recall-Who has turned theirs in?

I believe I have a 512, can't remember what I paid for it. Wondering how high of a purchase price I can put.

 

Request the return form and you should be refunded for the original purchase price.

 

Went and bought a new EOTech 512 and requested a return pickup for my old one. I can not wait 2 months for a check during hunting season.

 

My Eotech was not holding zero. I sent mine back in the Summer for a refund. Replaced it with a Nikon 1-4x scope. I am very happy with the scope.

 

Received my check from EOTech today

Received my check today. USPS tracking shows they received it on 23 JAN 17, 9 weeks exactly.

 

Does anyone mind sharing what they paid for a 512?

 

They wrote me a check for a 10 year old EOTech 512 for $364.00,The new one cost me $402.00.

 

I took my refund for my xps2-0 and traded up for an aimpoint t2. Paid an additional 300 but was the only way I'd be able to foot one lol

 

My 551 was made in 2009, bought it in 2011 IIRC. I purchased it for around $400 or maybe a little less. Can't recall for sure. A friend of mine with ties to the industry told me to go to the EoTech website and whatever MSRP is for my optic, ask for that. I asked for $500 and they approved it. Received a check for $515.

 

Got my check today also for my XPS2 $540

 

I would have went this direction but I already had the 3x magnifier and a laser battery cap for my old 512.

 

I'm sending an '06 Eotech in under the class action suit. Eotech won't repair them anymore, which I have done in the past. Only option since the refund has ended is to be compensated through the class action suit which ends in May.

So they aren't doing refunds anymore? This is the first I've heard about the recall/refund and I have a pre-2012 sitting at home.

 

Interesting... I submitted my refund around December and shipped it out in January after approval. It appears the website has changed since then and I do not see the request a refund tab.

 

Yes, if your request form contains the word refund, you'll notice you immediately lose the submit button. The recall ended on March 23. You'll see a notice on the right side of the main page http://www.eotechinc.com/.

 

I just received notice that I will be receiving a $20 certificate from the lawsuit. Of course it's only valid on purchase of an eotech product
