Bungie's Destiny

Lol... It snowed 3" here yesterday and shut down the fucking city My daughter's school was closed. I'm gonna be in DC in March btw.

 

So... My daughter is starting to play (and like) Destiny. Finally got her out of the tower and she went in and raced sparrows for a couple of hours. Now if I can just get her to go shoot something. She's actually not bad at running a sparrow considering how hard they are to figure out and she's never been on one.

 

Sweats on floating gardens....


Think i may pass on a card, just do HM on the new Hunter and take a few days off.

Bungo said a patch is coming, but it wont happen before Clash IB next week.

Should be. Kind of sucks with the special ammo nerf since I snipe all the time. Suppose I shouldn't die huh lol? Sidearms are going to see a increase in activity I would imagine. Looks like Titans got the worst of it all though. It's going to completely change the Jug Titan shotgunner.

 

I doubt I play much for a while. Destiny once again has become pretty stagnate. For Honor comes out tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that. Played the beta all weekend and it is a lot of fun.

I took a small break and played thru Blood Dragon. I have 1 achievement left and its 100%
What a great game.


Almost have my Hunter leveled up fully and im not too worried about ammo. I use more primary anyway cause its always hard to grab.

 

They nerfed the 3 round clip for my rocket launcher and took away my extra rocket.
Next itll be the auto shotty and armor that gives you extra melee and nades.
Thatll do it for me, F U Bungie.

Suppose you should learn NLB if you rely on sniper so much; or you could primary since thats also a thing now!

 

Solid patch; couldve done without the quick draw and hungering blade/blink nerfs but ive enjoyed it. Most balanced this game has ever been.

 

I like using NLB. I don't trust myself to use it as a primary all the time but after playing with it for some while now I personally think It's a lot of fun. The nerf to RL's (Truth in particular) doesn't bother me all that much. I'll admit that was my primary RL but I'm not sad to see it go. It was pretty damned OP. I hate they released a patch with so many issues but that's par for the course it seems. I haven't played much crucible in the last month and the last week has been devoted to For Honor. I'll go back in and try a few of the auto rifles. We'll see if the Vision Stone is good now? It wasn't in the past but maybe it's received some love?

 

That said, I've got a lot of god roll autos in my vault that I'm glad I held on to. Maybe the Haakon's Hatchet is finally worth using again. The doctrine was the go too for a while so I might try that one also. Got a lot of choices and it will be fun to go back in and play around with all my old weapons. I'll still use my Winged Word to snipe since it seems special comes up pretty frequently.

 

Pretty frustrated with the game atm. Im a man without a gun and missing my Titan. Purchased the vendor roll Partheon Shot to give it a try as well as the Hawkmoon was reforged.

The best part is I haven't been killed by one matador or clever dragon in days, the worst part is i have no idea how to play with a Hand Canon. People are just spamming grenades and auto rifles. So in close quarters, HCs and sidearms now rule to clean up as you get sprayed by ARs.

Im going back to my Titan with double fuckboi grenades and massive amounts of armor. Follow it up with the fist of panic. In the litte over a month ive played the Hunter, i was yet to really go off. Ive wasted so many blades and golden guns with little reward.

 

I might try and play some today. Haven't played much in the last month and now I'm hooked on For Honor. But I would like to try out some of my old weapons. I've also got the Adept version of the Vision Stone and I've never had much use for it but now it might be decent? Not sure but I'll try it out since it's just been sitting in my vault.

 

Well... bladance is pretty much shot now. I never use golden and only play nightstalker. Grenades and smoke on < 30sec cool down combined with shadestep makes evasion easy. You can lock down a control point with a well placed tether and just pick off everyone stuck in it. Shotgun Titans are a thing of the past now (for the time being). But since they fucked up so many things with this patch who knows what comes next?

 

Ive been tryng hard with NLB, im hit or miss with that thing

 

I'm in the same boat. I love using it and have finally got used to canceling the reload animation. I've noticed that if you aim "slightly" lower than head high it will be a headshot. So I'm becoming pretty proficient with it. Mind you I wouldn't take it into Trials (yet) but I do like equipping it on the flight in and let the others think I'm going to use it for a mind game. But in a regular skirmish / elimination match I don't mind using it. It's just got a different feel to it as opposed to my Longbow or Winged Word. "Feels" much heavier. But I do like using it.

 

I would run nightstalker with the felwinter and bones. Lockdown smoke and Spike grenades. Its a fun class but come 3 min in it gets crazy with supers.


Got that vanguard quartermaster parthian and its 2-3 shot kill on the right map. Trespasser as the sidearm for me right now also.
