Im seriously looking at purchasing 3rd Gen 5100's all the way around paired with either 887 or 888 coil springs. Single AAL in the back. Stock UCA. Not planning on steel bumper or winch. Id say 80-90% on road but would like some peace of mind when I do hit some moderate trails for fun.

Will the extra weight of the LB give me any issues with lift heights using this setup?

Looking to have at least a 2" lift after settling. Defianatly dont want the bro lean. As close to level or factory rake is preferred.

I will occasionally haul and tow but nothing that will be in excess of the rated factory specs. Will the single AAL if I end up level hold most loads level or will it go nose up? Im a huge stickler of proper towing mechanics. Maybe Im asking to much from a lifted truck or its possible the Dakar spring pack would be better? I just don't want to hit a crack in the road and feel like a pothole. Any insight would helpful.

    And thanks in advance !!!

Wondering the same thing for a friend of mine. He doesn't want to use Dakar packs cause they are so expensive. Hope we get some good info about the single aal.

I have the single AAL and it basically rides perfectly level at first and was slightly stiffer than stock but no one other than me noticed. I also would definitely go with the 888's at first i felt it was to big and i hated that there was no Rake. but after it settled its perfect.

3rd gen 5100's that's why I ended up doing the 888s since there weren't any real tests done. you can't go wrong with the 2nd gen though I figured I'd just test the 3rd gen out. I love the set up I really do the only thing I've liked more was bilstein 6112 on front but it was a lot more money and it was on my four runner.

Thanks for the compliment I'm on 285/70/17

Im thinking my long bed might have a shorter stance than a SB. Either way it should look good.

What kind of dog is that? Awesome looking pooch!
