I just wanted to put out here that Tire Rack is currently selling. 265. 65. 17. kO2's for 160 each. They are E rated. I know everyone has their ideas about e rated on our trucks- so it may not be for you, but I wanted to put it out there.

I am new too... so I am not the best to answer, but here is what I understand. A C load tire is typically what comes stock on our trucks. They are lighter and do not have the load capacity of an e rated And typically can not go to as high a tire pressure. Most people that do a lot of towing or heavy loads will go with an E rated tire. With the KO2 I believe the E rated are 2 ply thicker and can go to 80 psi where the c rated are only to 50.

I have read that some people like the E because it is a heavier tire and more plies is more protection off road. I can not attest to that.

That above is my understanding and anyone can feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Here is what I can tell you- I love the tires I got. E rated being heavier and thicker so make for a little bumpier ride than the stock wheels that came off. I personally like the feel. I feel as though I have a better feel of the truck when driving. Traction is amazing. We had to pull our trailer the other day in the snow, through a yard and up a hill and they didn't even flinch. Yes I was in 4 high because it was not my lawn and didn't want to mess it up. But having the extra load rating made it feel like the trailer was not even there compared to before.

They are a bit louder than standard h/t tires. But not much.

    I hope this helps-
