I am about to pick up my first Tacoma, a 2017 XP. I am seeking a new bumper for it. I really like the look of the MBRP front modular bumper but can not find any info on it on Tacoma World or other pictures aside from the manufacturer's. Does anyone on here have this bumper or know anything about it? Pictures would be great.

My big question is whether the trim pieces in the picture that fill the gap below the headlight and above the bumper are included with the bumper/ a standard Tacoma accessory that I can buy, if so, where from?/ or if they require being cut from the stock bumper.

Here is the bumper in question:

    Thanks!

I have not been able to find much info either as these are the ones I have been looking at, front winch, front skid and rear bumper. The front is a trim to fit. Jegs has a good price too with free shipping.

There are no front attachment/recovery/d-ring points so something would need to be fabbed up unless the factory hook would still work.

Lots of questions without alot of answers, I am still considering them as my first choice as they are different and don't look too bulky, many of the other bumpers out there look too bulky on the front of the Taco.

The trim to fit is the part that worries me. I like the bumper though. I think NFab is working on a gen 3 bumper that will not require trimming. Maybe it's worth waiting until their offering comes out

I ordered the full set, front bumper, front skid and rear bumper.

We shall see, I found the install manual and looks good enough to take a chance on.

Where did you order from? And can you post the link to the manual?

    Keep us on posted!

    I ordered from Jegs:

    http://www.jegs.com/i/MBRP/679/183099/10002/-1

    http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stor...&submodel=&engine=&Nrpp=&No=&persistYmm=false

    http://www.jegs.com/i/MBRP/679/183100/10002/-1

Here is the manual for the front bumper on the manufacturers site:

    http://offcamberfabrications.com/products/instructions/183099.pdf

After finding the manual and seeing the tube layout for the "wings" as well as the light mounting points I like this option the best. Still looks like I will have to cut access holes for access to the winch free spool handle.

    That's a nice looking bumper.

Any recovery points? Or is stock recovery still in place?

After being backordered multiple times I cancelled my order and went with expedition one instead.

This is with the expedition one bumpers before I traded the truck in due to tranny issues and horrid mileage.
