    Did the Deckplate mod the other day. It sounds a lot better and I can feel some gains

    gains.....doubtful. Did you do the big deckplate or the smaller one?

    That's when it gets loud. I did a 6" and can't tell a difference in power. Just a hell of a lot louder

    Update from summer to now:
    Bought some cheap pods from Planoled.com and a wiring harness
    Mounted them with some generic pipe clasp mounts from Amazon

    Yesterday I installed two pods. One on the tire rack for a light in my bed, the other on the frame under the truck, just behind the leaf springs, for a backup light.
