For awhile now I pass by a this trailer that's for sale everyday but I could never get a good look at it because it was in a field behind a fence so it sat and sat and sat with no takers. Today as I was coming home it was on the side of the road with a free sign, "FREE" why the hell not ill take it I like free shit even if its a complete pile I have no investment in it.

Here's the pics since you guys like visuals, and I warn you its a pile

Nice start! The prize is always in the eye of the beholder. Looks like you got a good frame for the platform out of it.

Yes the frame is solid and little rust it should clean up nicely but what ever that thing is that holds the wheels on is going bye bye. I have to source an axle and springs from somewhere

Not sure what the shipping cost would be from Dallas to you but I got my axles, hubs and all the suspension parts from this place, http://www.southwestwheel.com/store/c-2-trailerpartcom.aspx
They built it to the specified width and I was able to get the hubs with the 6-on-5.5 bolt pattern to match the truck. Was a pretty fair price in my opinion for everything I got.

Operation trailer build is commencing, the plan for today is to get it stripped down to the frame and put some tires on it so it can roll
