Lets see some close up pictures of the Fox kit installed? What does this kit include? Truck sure looks good. How do those 20 work out wheeling. Not much tire to drop your air down.

These are the springs that came with the Fox CO. I didn't change them. I'm about 2.1/4. I'm haven't had time to preload them some more. But I'm going to soon.

I made the mistake of loosening that Allen bolt too much and the collar slipped up a couple notches. Yah scared the ever living shit outta me. Luckily I was able to get it back to normal but I want to raise it more up front because I have Dakars in the back also and I think it looks funny. I've tried your method multiple times and I just cant get the collar to move without bending the holes for the spanner wrench which are aluminum Yay!! I guess I just need to use a spring compressor to do it

Make sure you use a lot of WD40. It makes a lot easier.

What's the right size for the allen bolt hexagon? 5 mm is too big, 4.5 mm feels too loose. Some inch-size?

    Edit: is it 3/16"?

    Yes, I believe it's a 1/4" socket cap bolt. About 99% sure I use 3/16" Allen key.

BTW, does anyone know for sure the right torque setting? I use 8 ft-lb but I'm not sure if that's right or not.

Just installed mine FOXs yesterday, the adjusting collar was very easy to adjust just with 8 mm punch after spraying some grease on the threads. No need for a spanner wrench, just lift it up, no need to remove tires.

now this post is upsetting me , i have my Fox 2.5's 0-3 coming today from headstrong, the reason i went with fox is because all shock pics on all vendor website's, show's 2 rings, the upper being the locking ring, and looked like it would be easier to adjust them.. i cant be taking them off and on to adjust them, as local shop will be installing them. also i have a one inch rear block, so i need 1 3/4 in. over stock in front to be level. should i get a 1/4 spacer for drivers side. or should i adjust preload more on that side.. these need to be adjustable while on vehicle.. i cant buy a replacement spring for my OEM Pro Fox's, and dealer wants 1200.00 for one shock, so i went with a new set..

this downloaded from fox this am. 2 locking rings, that is what i ordered and expect to receive today from headstrong,,
    see PDF..
