KO2s get my vote simply because they're the only tire I can get in a 34x10.5

Anyone have experience with Toyo OC R/T? I'm looking at these vs ST maxx. Leaning toward ST maxx right now.

I've got Cooper Discover AT3' and have been very happy with them. Good on everyday driving and have done me very well in my off road adventures.

I'm not a big sloppy, nasty, thick, dirty mudd guy. However they have done me well in moderate mudd situations.

I like the KO2 myself. Tough as nails and long life.
I have them on two trucks and drive in more rain/muck than most will see in a life time. Never had any issue with the KO2 other than price.

nice look on the truck! wondering what size those spacers are? and what size the ST MAXX you are running? I'm thinking a level kit on my '16 Tacoma and going to 265/70/17 st maxx. don't do much off-roading but love the look and performance of the tire. cooper is a solid brand and seems like everyone around my town has KO2's, just don't feel like joining the club haha

Really? Does the Hero5 have some sort of gyroscope built in? The old GoPro I had, along with any normal camera would move in parallel to the vehicle, and your hood is bouncing around like a stock exchange, so there's something funky at play here.

// edit - rewatched the video. Never mind, the camera does move with the vehicle :). The great scenery distracted me the first time around ;)

I'm running ko2 out here in AZ. I have to say my next tire is going to be the St maxx. I do not care for the sidewall at all on the bfg.

The camera has a built in image stabilization thats works amazing. As you can tell. I too was shocked cause I was hitting that trail really hard and almost got air a couple of times and when I seen the playback on the computer I was shocked it was that steady.

The stabilization in that video is pretty good. I wouldn't call it amazing, but it's much better than what I recall my videos being like. The first time I viewed the video I was in a bit of a tunnel-vision mode, focusing on the center of the image and didn't notice that the edges of the area being filmed definitely did change with vehicle movement; cleared that up on the second rewatch. In any case, looks like there's been a lot of improvement in the GoPro since I owned it (version 2 or 3, can't recall).

Nice thread…just need to make sure I'm getting my facts right. I'm currently running 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have rubbing on the front fender (mud flaps are gone). Looking at getting either the BFG KO2 or Cooper AT3…if I downsize to a 275/70/17 will the rubbing go away? Is that enough of an aspect ratio drop? Thanks

Unfortunately it's pre-KO2 but Expedition Portal did a pretty thorough test.
