Got it mounted today. What do you guys think as far as length? I think it's a tad long. However the size of this thing open is awesome. I'm leaning on keeping it. Lol

I like it. It's palatial and gives you access to the truck. What more can you ask for.

    None yet!
It's been a tough week. We had to say goodbye to our 13 year old pup, Jake.IMG_3038.jpg

Needed to get away so decided to pack up and head down for some fishing at Talbot Island close to Jacksonville Florida. Needless to say the truck was packed full... the prinsu rack I ordered can't come soon enough.

The little talbot camp ground is beautiful. Although you are close to your neighbors, you are a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to a kayak launch in the salt water creek called Simpsons creek.

Bad picture but caught a decent size speckled trout. Fought so hard I thought I had a red drum until he popped he head up. Overall I would highly recommend this spot. Great for families or for anyone just wanting to enjoy some beautiful scenery bIMG_3063.jpg

Took my wife, dogs and camper winter camping for their first time for new years. It was supposed to be clear and 25 degrees Fahrenheit so I thought it should be a pretty easy good first experience.. Got up to baudette, MN on the Canadian border and there was a winter storm warning and -45 degree wind chills. We only got 6 inches of snow which was good. We were the only ones in Big Bog campground. It was awesome. And she'll probably never do it again. Win some ya lose some. I'm blessed that She loves the outdoors when it's nice out. So I shouldn't push it. :cheers:IMG_20170101_061833.jpg IMG_20161231_192720.jpg IMG_20161231_201953.jpg IMG_20161231_202054.jpg

Went with a group to Fall Creek Falls State Park here in TN last spring. Didn't take any pics of the truck but here's the campsite, cooksite, and the fallls.

Just a bunch of old crap
Length is fine. This is how they are going to be when mounted to a roof rack. Look at elevating your awning rack so you can get proper height and slope out of your awning body. Keeping it flat like that will make for a huge swimming pool on your awning and bend the poles.

The awning body is cut longer on the side that goes up against your truck. This allows for the slope that will shed the rain.

you bet! with a hookup or propane heater I can get her up easily to 70F inside without issue. Cedar lined too, so it's quite cozy!
