Do they cover the entire bed or just half?

Best I remember, they won't cover the whole bed when collapsed, but they triple in length when extended. Pretty sure Dave had a full size slide that could be slid completely out of the bed. He can confirm. I'll get measurements with the pics.

Ok, I'm interested. I'll wait for photos to confirm.

I was referencing more the width. Do they cover the entire width of the bed of just half. I'd prefer if they only covered half, so I could still slide things along the side without using the slide.

This isn't an actual bed slide, rather, the ball bearing tracks that allow it to slide. Something similar to this. Not the actual product, just the first thing google pulled up.

    Will when I get home.

They have holes and you could make your own lockable mounts, but MaxTrax actually sells a mounting kit that accepts a lock, which is what I plan on using.

As for the bed sliders, they are basically industrial drawer slides. If I remember correctly they have a 500lb rating at full extension. They're 56" long because I thought 60" would be too tight with the tailgate still being able to close. They extend 100% of their length.

I would love to re-do my bed drawers but they're functional as is. Not gonna mess with them anymore.

Ok something is wrong after I replaced the axle. Today it rode fine in 2 wheel drive. Went to back the trailer in and put it in 4x4 and the wheels don't spin just a grinding noise. lol like I might have to get a new diff or something any ideas. Have not been under the truck yet to watch anything other than change the axle.

Do you think you might have popped apart the roller things inside one of the boots during install?

a guy here in WA was looking at getting together to fab some mounts for his, i dont think they are maxtrax brand so we'll see what we can make, should be a fun project

very boring, but good to see a company take the time to demonstrate it. im sure it at least helps business a little since they actually recorded the dfiference between all the options

of note: I did not CHOOSE a weaker option intentionally, just didnt know what I was getting at the time. YES, my slider did bend up on a roughly 12" drop BUT it was on the very front and at the end of the day, it saved my rocker panel from denting in and not being able to open the door...so all in all, it did its job successfully haha...just hope I dont hit the exact same spot from that high again. all welds look to be still in tact though so, we'll see

    haha
