Often we need to use wipers to remove the excess amount of freedom that builds up on the windshield as we drive.

To clean the smog sheen off your windshield so you don't rear end the driver in front of you.

Rain X. The only time my wipers were ever used was 1 time by the guy doing my inspection sticker.

My OEM wiper blades have held up so far, ~14 months and 21k miles. We don't get much rain here but you'd think the sun would eat the hell out of them. I do park my truck outside most of the time too.

OEM blades + winter, worse wipers i've ever had. I've bought some Michelin Steal Pro and they performed very well with rain/snow/ice

I have had my truck for 9 months and wiper blades are in bad shape, since is winter in FL and not much rain kind of forgot to replace them.
Agree, worst wiper blades I ever have, usually the ones I pick from the auto parts stores last 2 Florida's summer.

No BRO-ness to speak of... Well, except Kbro2's
11 months and 34.5k miles. No replacements needed. Blades work as intended. No problems.

its a Toyota truck and that's all the modifications needed
I think they have used a different supplier, cause I ordered a set of OEM rubber inserts from a Toyota dealer on EBAY and they were exactly the same color silver/gray as a set of universal silicon refills I had purchased from Thailand that you cut-to-fit types. I don't have hard evidence but the color was unsual silver/gray as opposed as the jet black refills I used to get.

My 1st winter (3 months off the assembly line) the OEM wiper on the passenger side left a place the size of a dinner plate untouched on my windshield. Came springtime I got rid of them and put Bosch Icons on my truck. If I drove allot I would not have waited that long to replace them.

Live in central Florida and replaced mine after a year to a beam style which I had on my previous VW. They still looked new but wanted a better wiper due to highway drinking. Went with Bosch icons for now. Denso makes a beam style that can be purchased as well. For me being here I go through wipers at most once a year due to the sun.
