I have too many bikes and just built up a Yelli Screamy, but that's a really nice bike and a good price for the components it has.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I love it. No regrets at all, best value out there. I actually like it better than the fiberglass ones because it weighs half as much and you can spin it, slide it, stand it straight up, dunk the nose/sides etc. You really cant do that on any of the newer heavy ones.

I bought the base model, no reverse or anything but I bought an aftermarket tuner for it so its making more power than the h.o. one. they are the same exact engines they just detune one so they can charge for it. It will do about 60 with the factory impellor and has sport mode, higher rev etc like the h.o. actually higher and there are e85 tunes for about 20 more hp if you are into that. Mine might be for sale as I broke up with gf and will be moving soon.

Thanks for the feedback. I work for Yamaha so I get pretty good deals on their products, but I've always been a Sea-doo fan. Haven't gotten an opportunity to get on a spark yet.
Sorry to hear about your GF situation. Nice WR, love those bikes

Any long bed owners using Rockymounts able to get their bikes from bed rail to bed rail vs front to back? I'm wondering if I can get a bike in front of the wheel hump and one behind and still get the tailgate closed. Not a huge deal but I like the options.

Have a question: We are planning for some long vacation trips with 4-5 bikes and I am trying to decide on bike carrier solution. So far I have decided to go with one of the above bed racks, and then to add some bike holders. I like the wheel-on holders from Yakima/Thule, however, buying 4-5 of those looks relatively expensive and those cheaper holders they look bit flimsy to me for long trips. I am also looking to simple fork mounts with short tray & strap for rear bike wheel. Those components are much cheaper but it brings up another question how to carry those front wheels assuming there will be no room for them in cargo bed. I saw both Y/T offer the fork for the spare wheel (e.g. Yakima Wheelhouse). I have also seen solution where the spare wheel is attached to bike frame by straps (like on the picture below)...has anybody tried that? Is it reasonable to carry wheels that way? Or is there any other way to carry those wheels?

This would take up a lot less space up there than also adding Wheel Forks!

Sorry if this had already been covered. I'm looking to get rid of my Kuat Sherpa rack and moving to the Raceface pad. Anyone out there with the Raceface that can tell me if I need the Medium or if I should go with the large?

I'm not really worried about the back up camera. I like the bike separator pads on the Raceface and more concerned about the large getting in the way of using/droppingbthe tailgate.

@Carlemil We took a long road trip vacation years ago with 4 bikes on the roof of our Land Cruiser, using Yakima fork mounts and trays, with the front wheels strapped to the bikes, and it worked great. Mostly highway but a little dirt too. I did pay the $$ for real forkmount racks as I had tried a homemade setup with separate fork-mounts clamped to the front crossbar, and the rear wheels Velcro-strapped to the rear crossbar, and after a few near-misses gave up on that. Just to much risk of losing bikes on the freeway. I have used forkmounts in the bed of my truck with no rear wheel retention, with no problems. Maybe just luck, or maybe less sway lower down, plus at worst the bike would just fall into the bed. Now I have through-axle forks and use fork mounts for those; totally secure compared to QR's.
