well the tacoma did GREAT in the last storm. loved it. drove the whole time. used it to shuttle employees back and forth from the hospital. but woke up this morning and the truck was making some real weird loud noises from the driveline. Sounded a whole lot like U-joints. clicking that increased speed as truck speed increased. I checked very carefully for ice that could be stuck somewhere but found nothing. it's pretty much all melted under there anyway. Drove straight to dealer so they could figure it out and all they had left to rent was a prius. So here i am with my truck in the shop, a hybrid in my driveway, and the second perfect storm coming.. not a happy camper. (oh and last snowstorm we got like 6 weeks or so ago, the security immobilizer went and they had to replace that computer so i was driving a yaris for 3 days) truck's only got 33k miles on it. oh and its starting to make the throwout bearing noise!!!

Man! I feel sorry for you! Snow coming and no Taco! The only thing worse that I could think of is all package stores blowing up before I could get there!

I hope you make out okay....

    How's everyone doing?

My husband's business closed for today and I called off. We got up at 5am to start snow-blowing/shoveling the 7" that had accumulated overnight. Plow didn't go by until later.... and we were back out to clean up at 9am (another 4" or so on the ground at that time). We just got back out to clean up again....and another 10"+ since 9am. And it ain't stoppin.......

This is my husband...he's 5'10" tall. This is the snow bank at the end of the driveway. All this was accumulated from last weekends storm (16") and today.

My gawd....is it ever gonna end?

Keep having to go out and clean off the satellite dish. Priorities ya know!!:D

Hope ya'll are safe & sound through all this!

The wife and i just got home. No issues what so ever driving around. I talked her into taking a ride up to East Coast Honda cycle center to look at the CanAm Renegade 800. She gave me the ok for the quad, plow and the Tack system. Now im wanting MORE snow!

I can't really tell how much new snow we got here. It's blowing around too much. Uncle Sam gave me another day off but I'll gladly go to work if it means this snow goes away.
I saw on the news earlier DC broke the old 1899 snow record, it's now at 54.9".
On the other hand, Dulles Airport, which is a few miles from me, has recorded 72" so far this winter.
    Is it spring yet?

Lost power on 6 Feb 10 (and part of my mind) and decided to grill out. No power for about 36 hours. We were lucky, others were out for days. It was a cold night though. We (wife, kids and I) had a good time grilling. I think the neighbors had a laugh too.
