I'm familiar with the problem, but they're not leaking any grease to this point and at least 175k of that is highway and interstate miles and the truck still tracks really straight. Maybe this weekend...

Haha, my stockers were on until 185K and now I'm on two mismatched parts store LBJs.

Also that's not how you use the word jaded, at this point you're actually cautious, aware... etc. Jaded would be if you saw all these LBJ failures called it a normal event and went on to do nothing about it on your own truck

I tend towards paranoia anyway, it's going to be awesome going down the road waiting for the spindle to fold 90 degrees until I have a chance to replace them:goingcrazy:

Being cautious is good. I'll eventually change mine when I put my coilovers and new LCA bushings in. Till then I'll continue to perform my nightly sacrifices to Akiyo Toyoda so that he may watch over my LBJs.

Sorta my problem, I've been planning on getting something as a daily driver that I can haul the kids in. I'm torn between a late 00's Landcruiser or a '17 raptor. But I want turn the Taco into a full blown toy/expo rig, but since I want to go full blown LT it's really hard to start tearing into the front end.

Bit by bit or you'll never learn what works and what doesn't. Can't get it right 100% the first time.

    Ben,

Why did you stop the trailer build? I missed the reason behind selling it. Assuming your move.

Well, just accepted a fish biologist position in Cottonwood, ID. I will have 1 year of training and will then be converted to a permanent biologist position.

Yep, I asked about the Boise position and they had decided to not offer a recent graduates position there. This is by far the best I can do with my experience and education so I didn't hesitate to take it. Not sure how it's going to workout with Lizzy but we can cross that bridge when we get there. In the mean time I will keep an eye on local opportunities but I doubt many permanent positions will open up with Trump taking office.

Yep, I am waiting for another HR person to call to set a starting date. Since its a recent graduate position they will let me finish and probably give me a week or two to start moving. If some how I find a better position in Wyoming I can cancel this position. As long as I haven't started work, I can back out. I doubt ill find a better position though. Stoked about elk hunting out there!

Yep. Time to start figuring how to live out there now...I can already tell that finding a rental online is going to be next to impossible. I guess I will probably be driving out there for my spring break in hopes of getting a lead on some places. Good news is housing is cheap...aka more truck parts!

Looks like my first day of work is scheduled for the 30th of May. Now lets cross our fingers that the trump train doesn't crush this position.
