It almost looks like they planned on attaching more mesh to the cage that surrounds the entire body so they could use it for some kind of golf course work truck. (covering all of the exposed area with a heavy mesh or expanded metal would protect the glass and body panels).

    Still ugly regardless.

I know,it's like somebody with skill but really bad taste. Just stop already. I was actually thinking about what I could cut off and make it look decent....it ends with a cab and frame left. Hahaha!

Looks like they were going for this look but didn't quite get there.

Oh by the way, rumor has it that this is a sneak peek at the 2018 Tacoma PRO Inferno.

But that looks like it has a purpose, like dragging a goof ball grabber. still better.

Now I know what that reminds me of...

It looks like they took a sand rail apart and wrapped it around a Tacoma.

Don't get me wrong. That's beautiful work, but one single little bump to the cage anywhere and the whole thing would be all crooked, bent, twisted and bulging out.

You know I hated these until I rode in a different truck off-road and the cups bounced out of the cup holders and fell on the floor. I actually love these now. My Yeti cup fits perfectly and never bounces out. A small twist and the cup pulls free when I want it to and not any other time.

That said I had a friend riding passenger and at least twice he got out of the truck with the holder still stuck to his cup and then it dropped in the dirt just as you describe...

I've honestly considered using Velcro, but for now I'm rocking 1 cup holder and keeping a close eye on it.

Light bars and snorkels are probably the ugliest mods I've seen. Rims over 17", low profile tires, bed covers with spoilers, and "vote Hillary" stickers also make me cringe. Also not a fan of using shells for aesthetics or bulky front bumpers on daily drivers.:jerkoff:

What's wrong with adding those things if you wheel your truck?

Depends on where you vwheel. If its in the mountains where there is lots of timber a snorkel will quickly end up on the trail behind you. Same with roof mounted light bars. Around here both scream poser. In other places both are perfectly functional. Except for maybe the big roof mounted light bars. The one I saw in person caused so much glare of the hood and windshield that it was nearly useless. In that case, poser time. I'm sure there are ways to do them properly though.

There are a bunch of people here who wheel at night. We also get flash floods in the desert and your bumper mounted LED bars, along with your actual headlights become absolutely useless when they are covered in mud. I have an LED bar mounted on my PrInSu rack and I get 0 glare.

As I wrote. It depends on where you wheel.
