I've tried Sylvania's and Philips CrystalVision halogen's trying to get that white light look, and while they are slightly whiter than the stock bulbs, I wasn't happy with the color or light range. Went with Morimoto Elite HID system in 5500k and I'm very happy with them.

This sounds really weird but my dealer gave me a loaner a few weeks ago and it was a 16 corolla....those headlights were amazing

Interesting question. I have always been a Sylvania fan. I initially upgraded my 2017 to "Silverstar Ultra" but honestly didn't notice a whole lot of difference and went back to stock because of longevity concerns. I would rather not take the risk of 1 or more burning out while traveling. BUT, I would love to have something more white but will NOT go the LED route. Despite all of the applause on here for them they are NOT engineered for projector lenses like our trucks use. They will work. I would be more curious about going the HID route. Let me know what you find out! :)

Osram and Sylvania I believe are the same company.

The best performing stock wattage bulbs in terms of output are Osram Nightbreakers and Philips X-treme Vision, both a little whiter than stock.

The X-treme Visions are slightly brighter but not as white as the Nightbreakers, the Nightbreakers are slightly whiter and a little cheaper. Both these bulbs are rated longer life than Sylvania silver stars. However, silver stars will be whiter as they are really more about looks than performance, as their life and lumen output is less. So decide what feature is most important to you.

    Worth reading:
    http://store.candlepower.com/osnibr.html

For 100% brighter 3rd gen halogen headlights (not the goal of whiter):
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-ultimate-foglight-upgrade-not-led-or-hid.435419/

You could pair this upgrade above with these 80w 4k bulbs to have the white look and the high performance:
    http://www.rallylights.com/bulb-h11-12v-optilux-extreme-xenon-blue-pair.html

7k halogen bulbs will have a coating so dark and thick it may have the 'look' but will definitely be a significant downgrade in lumen performance over the stock light bulbs. If you are looking for above 4k, you really should look to a different lighting technology for good performance.

Yes, though the products are not the same. That is Sylvania silver stars are quite different than the Osram silver stars, the Osrams are far better.
