Hey guys I'm super impressed with my 2016 limited with 265/70/17. Averaged 11L/100km today 21 us mpg, 25 mpg Canadian, thought this was pretty good, not babying it either. Quite a bit better than the previous 4.0L

Ok. Thx for clarifying. I presumed since you mentioned liters that you would use a single type of gallon rather than refer to both in one single post (thread title vs post).

Thread title is obviously referring to Metric Gallon where as your post is referring to Imperial Gallon.

Isn't that the advertised average mpg?

Not bad at all, with my '16 Limited and stock tires on a 95 mile trip I've seen 25.3 mpg twice.

That's impressive for sure, I can't seem to manage much more than about 16-17 combined city/hwy. I have to read my manual too, that trip specific fuel economy is useful!

Sheeyat, i'm gonna start telling my mpg to friends imperial. "Yo my tacoma gets 25mpg I couldn't believe it but it really does get 25....**long pause** imperial mpg"

Also I dislike when people post their trip screens and not just let us know how well they did at the end of the tank when they've filled up and hand calculated. Given my computer is not accurate, I've generally beat the computer..

Thats good gas mileage. Glad your getting that OP, mine doesnt, but i also drive very short trips back and forth to work everyday, so it kills my mileage. When i take longer trips i get around 17, but im also lifted with a heavy ass e-rated tire.

Most people will make fun of good gas mileage, but most them drive harder and faster than they think and it kills their mileage. LoL

I should have added that info as well, I get 20ish on flat highway on 20" wheels, Cepek Fun Country 285's. Haven't had them that long so I'm not convinced this is a final number.

I've seen 50+ MPG driving down to the valley from the Mogollon Rim going from ~7000ft+ to ~1400 ft. Then you hit reality and it's back to 19 to 20 mpg average day to day. Which isn't bad, but it isn't anything earth shattering. Especially considering there are full sizes now getting numbers in that ballpark.

My 17 Limited is averaging a little over 22 mpg, USG. I reset the log at 2k miles. First 2k were 21.7. Last 1100 miles have been 22.5. I do drive it pretty easy however, but haven't been more than 60 miles from home since buying it.

Drive it like a grandpa and on flat roads, keep it around 50 to 60mph max...you'll max out the highway ratings for the most part. Stop and go kills this truck MPG.
