    It never efffing ends.....

While I do have a ground tent, I prefer to sleep in a hammock. I've slept in single digit temps in the mountains of Colorado in a hammock and was comfortable.

Here's my usual setup if I am going to park and not need my truck.

It rained a bit on this trip, so I had the fly staked down. I also have poles so that I can stake it out like a porch.

I also generally prefer a hammock. I've also slept down to single digits. In TN though, not CO.

i will most likely leave him at home to guard the house and tell a friend they can eat all my food if they stay at my place and take care of him... he does great camping and hiking but bouncing around in the truck all day and being surrounded by strangers will make him nervous. a nervous protective dog is not a good combo...

Since you all seem to be at least 1 year vets, or better, of LBL...will Cooper AT3's be a good tire to get?
    How is it on road?

Really want to keep my tire purchase under $600 for 4 and an alignment, if possible. I've searched the shit outta AT tires for what feels like forever!

Nah. You'll need to get mud grapplers, baja claws, or boggers

I have both the ENO and Yukon Outfitters, and I like both just fine, They take up no space, and go up faster than anything else. The Yukon Outfitters has a built in mosquito net too.

    https://www.amazon.com/Yukon-Outfitters-MG10501N-Parachute-Hammock/dp/B00MAUNB2M

This is my ENO setup in front of my campsite from the last time I was out camping. The tent is a cheap Ozark Trail from Wally World that I bought about 8 or 9 years ago, but it goes up easy, and I haven't had any issues with it.
