Sounds like one of those fucked up homes where you have to flush the toilet to make the garage door open.

At least we don't have to worry about being blinded by those headlights for now.

Maybe get a wiring diagram for the truck and figure out how the headlights are integrated, or contact the headlight manufacturer. It's hard to get any help without knowing what kit you installed.

It would be nice to know more details

Did you have the battery out ??

Did you remember to put it back in I tend to forget doing this all the time

Lots of sparks opening circuit protection

Things could be worse Flushing the toilet opens the garage door

    ...we'll get there.
you can get all sorts of safety measures to prevent a car from starting unless you do some secret "thing". my buddy's jeep has a magnet-tripped relay... you have to put the jeep in 5th gear (moving the magnet to trip the relay) before you start it. the thought being that no one else will know your secret "thing" and can't just drive off with your vehicle, even if they have the key.

Then some of us leave them outside running for 1/2 the day.

Got a work phone call that I had to engage the brain forget all about the truck outside idling till I went to go for lunch 6 hours later

Take 1 of the LEDs out and put the halogen back in. See if that will do it. Maybe a ground thing or not enough resistance????
    Just taking guess here. :crapstorm:

Are trucks use ground switched bulbs. (the headlight switch grounds the wire to the bulb. The headlight relay sends power to the bulb.)
Did you make sure they here for correct application? Not just looked the same.

This would seem to all be related to the pulling of the turn signal switch

The OP changed the head light circuit messing who knows what up.

Even if it is just the LED`s wired in the wrong polarity .

    With no prints very interesting!!!!!

I put led's in yesterday.:crapstorm: Went for a drive last night, going out now to put the original 55w back in. Great light from the led's but WAY to bright for on road and the low/high beam is a joke!! Glad they gave them to me,:amen: I'd be seriously upset if I had paid for them. J/S. Some day I'll listen to what everyone here says!!!:frusty:
