^ ...it was but after all those penalties in the 2nd, I expected some more fight out of LA in the 3rd. Nobody wanted to make a mistake, as allowing only 6 SOG was some good D. Kings needed to take some chances, as 4 SOG won't get the job done.

Anyone think Beauchemin will move this season? Colorado isn't going anywhere except down so they might offload some veterans to a team that is looking for a playoff spot/cup.

One of my fav defensemen and enjoyed it when he was with Anaheim.

I just dont want the leafs to spend any money on any veterans unless its someone like Tavares. Every team does that at this point and it usually end up bad. Like Campbell in Chicago. Just dont need to, Nielsen is going to be really good and theres still dermott and Valiev who are decent prospects

 

I don't get why you would even want Tavares in a year or so. You guys draft a #1 center and groom / build around him, then bring in a guy who will expect to be the #1 center and force your young guy to play 2nd fiddle. Same reason Stamkos didn't make sense in Toronto either, to me. I mean, there is nothing wrong with bringing in a guy like that. But when you have a young core that is actually promising, I'd hate to disrupt that.

 

both are better wingers IMO. Tavares

would be a #1LW here if we deal JVR for a dman like a lot of people are speculating we do. Need some veterans and he would be sick

And if you dont know him, Grundstrom is the kid who played in the WJC for sweden and is ripping up the SHL. only 19 and is 4th in goals even after leaving to play in the WJC for 6 games
